Susan, thanks so much for dropping by! I'm a huge admirer of Bouguereau's figure painting. If you ever decide to paint a master copy of his work, I think it would be best to choose something that you want to keep and there's so much to pick from. As for learning, I don't know, I think you already have a great command of "figures"!
How lovely, Mary! I've never copied a master's work as an exercise, but I can see how it would teach me a lot... Beautiful work.
